I'd like to use this thread to trade 1-for-1 DVDs (feel free to also use this thread to trade amongst yourselves as well). I'll list what I have, and I encourage everyone to get involved so we can spread the wealth around. I'm interested in trading 1-for-1, that way we don't have to worry about money exchanges, etc. I can also mix and match if only certain episodes of various things are wanted. I'd like to avoid publicly trading copyrighted movies here, let's just stick to TV - as most of this came from d-addicts and was recorded from regular TV, I have to assume it is OK to trade. I tried to mark the ones without subtitles, but there might be a couple more without that I can't remember. I'll check before burning to DVD anyway.

Here is what I have:

Taiga Drama:

Fuurin Kazan (1-50) (Approximately 8 DVDs)
Komyo ga Tsuji (1-50) (Approximately 4 DVDs)
Shinsengumi (1-36) (Approximately 3 DVDs)
Oda Nobunaga (1-15) (Approximately 2 DVDs)
Chushingura (1-12) (1 full DVD)
Atsuhime (1-2)
Mori Motonari (Episode 1) (No subs)
Toshie to Matsu (Episode 1)

TV:

MPD Psycho (1-6) (1 full DVD)
Trick (Season 1) (1 full DVD)
Shogun (James Clavell) (1 full DVD)
Abarenbo Shogun (1-12) (1 full DVD)
Furuhata Ninzaburo (Episode 1)
The Immortal Yi Soon Shin (1-9)

Specials:

Akechi Mitsuhide, The man unloved by God
Byakkotai (No subs)
Hijikata Toshizo
Sengoku Jieitai - Sekigahara (1-2)
Tokugawa Funroku (1-3)
Tokugawa Ieyasu to sannin no Onna
Yoshitsune Special Talks
Ryoma ni Omakase (1-12) (1 full DVD) (No subs)
Ooku - Hana no Ran (2005 Special) (No subs)

Most people should already know this, but these all require you to install the DivX Codec to your computer in order to watch.

Sounds like a great idea! I'm interested in the Admiral Yi and Oda Nobunaga dramas. Wink

I've got a few tv jidai geki from the grey market that were copied off of KIKU TV in Hawaii. Not sure what the rules are regarding these, as I figured somebody did something wrong recording these off the TV and then selling them for profit. Confused

Just to clarify, I'm looking for .avi and .mpg files (which tend to be from d-addicts) and not DVDs sold online by various gray markets.

Currently I'd like to get the full Mori Motonari, Yoshitsune, Shinsengumi, Toshie to Matsu, and any other Taiga dramas anyone is willing to trade for.

• Ikebukuro West Gate Park ("IWGP" - subbed)

I'm a bit new in the realm of TV collecting, but I have just (finally!) managed to obtain ALL of the Taiga Atsu-hime (eps. 1-50, esub versions, .avi files, approx. 8 DVDs) and somehow, the profound sadness at having finished watching a project that took SO long to download leaves me wanting an immediate fix of more Taiga drama!

I had tried to watch some inferior streaming video versions of Fuurin Kazan and got to the finest hour of the amazing Chiba about halfway through when I realized maybe I could just trade my Atsuhime series for Fuurin Kazan (in better quality too, which would save my eyes). Anyone interested in this excellent Bakumatsu-era drama for exchange of the excellent Sengoku-era adventure? I don't have any of the TV specials that go with Atsu-hime, just the series itself, downloaded in full from d-addicts.
