I wanted to pre-order the PUK for Nobunaga's Ambition: Tendou, which is coming on December 17th, but it seems Himeyashop has temporarily closed all import orders until an undetermined date because the Yen has been reappraised.

So, I search for a new website to import Japanese games to Canada. There is Play-Asia, which I know, but as far as I know they don't do custom orders, and their games seem more for the Chinese market than the Japanese.

Any website, or any other way, anyone can recommend me?

You can always try NCSX-they do custom orders. You might have a harder time with computer games, which for some reason seem harder for retailers to import than video games.

But that site seems to handle only Console games, right?

Primarily, but it never hurts to ask! Laughing There isn't that much of a market for imported PC games as compared to video game platforms, so most companies don't carry on hand stock. They've easily found some obscure stuff that my wife couldn't find in Japanese game stores.

I wrote an e-mail both to Himyashop and NCXS last Thursday, still got no answer as of yet.

If neither of them work, I wonder, does Amazon.co.jp ship outside of Japan?

Nope, not for video games or PC software.

Luckily they do ship DVDs, so I should have my copy of Beat Takeshi's Outrage around December 12th or so.

Update: Found a very reputable exporting vendor through eBay. My PUK will be shipped on December 18th.

But wow, prices were indeed jacked up! I payed more than USD$80.00 for the PUK alone. If I had bought it with the main game it would have easily costed 140$. Shocked

I've been following this thread from the start, but it just occurred to me that a website like flutterscape or tenso might do the trick for you. As I understand it, you pay a small fee to a shopper and a flat shipping rate. Besides that, you're just paying retail. I've never used either service, but if one works out for you at a cheaper price in the future, let me know.
