Since Wicked iemon was asking for this in another thread and the JTV (subbing group) torrent for this show was dead the last time I checked, I've been uploading this in split .rar format onto Mediafire. This is still their release, completely unmodified by me, so all credit goes to them.

I didn't want to put these in the Chanbara trailer thread, so I thought a separate thread dedicated to the download post and discussion on the drama would be more appropriate.

All parts uploaded and added to this post.

Glad I could help. I'll upload the second part tomorrow. JTV divided each of the two episodes into two parts, so this is just the first half of the show.

Look forward to seeing some discussion on this, it is an entertaining one.

I actually think this is by far the best of the Three Timeslip productions .

Another reason to watch this is Masahiko Tsugawa again play's Iyeasu a role he seems to own with his prior performances in this role being
THREE GENERATIONS OF THE YAGYU SWORD (1993)
MASAMUNE THE ONE EYED DRAGON (1987 Taiga )
and of course
AOI (2000 Taiga ).

I thought it was very good myself as well. It was the last of the three for me to watch. I enjoyed 1549 enough as a popcorn flick, so I wasn't expecting much from the drama, but it surprised me. The one thing that I would have liked to see more of was the Type 90 tank, the OH-1, and the different light armor vehicles, which were seen in the movie, instead of the older Type 74 and ordinary trucks we got here.

This was my first time seeing Sorimachi Takashi in anything since GTO (which I only saw a few years ago), so that was fun. I've worked with the JGSDF before and they got the uniforms and gear pretty well done.

I downloaded it but realized I already have it after I started to watch it. Although I think mine is lacking the subtitles.

Mine isn't lacking, you should go for it and grab it.

Added the first half of episode 2. I'll post the final section later.

I don't actually need the subs, but it's a great grab for anyone who does. Very good HD quality.

No, we have JGSDF troops who go through schooling at the ALU (Army Logistics University) here and I've helped manage several visits from their ranking logistics Generals to the base.

I spent 7 years stationed in Japan, including 2 years as the LNO to JGSDF Western Army in Kyushu. I miss being the only US pax on a JGSDF base...

Ah, where were you, Fukuoka? I've only been to US bases there, stuff in the Tokyo area. Zama, Yokosuka, etc.

I wouldn't mind getting a DoD assignment out there (I've been a GS civilian employee), since my degree focus was International Relations.

Kumamoto for those 2 years. I had all of Kyushu and Okinawa, though of course we actually have units on Okinawa that handle the local level stuff.

I've also spent a few years at Zama, and almost 2 years in Tokyo (downtown at a small little place called Hardy Barracks). I was hoping to go back when I finish here, but it'll have to wait at least 2 more years, as in the Army's infinite wisdom they decided to send me to Fort Polk after I finish the degree in Japanese Studies that they are paying for.

Ah, fun, fun. I'm at Lee right now. What's your MOS? How was the weather in Kyushu compared to Tokyo?

My branch is FAO (Foreign Area Officer), and I used to be both Armor and MI. Kyushu was hot--nasty hot. Kumamoto had the hottest temps in Japan when I was there, but the winters weren't bad at least.

Ah, I'm a Log Mgmt Specialist technically, though I want to get out of that world and more into the international relations and related fields.

I've seen Tokyo in the winter and froze my butt off, that's why I was asking. It was a lot like DC.

Totally forgot to upload and post the final part of this drama before I went camping a few days ago. Here it is, though, added to the first post.
