Clearly fake. Very Happy

According to this news http://news.jtbc.joins.com/html/178/NB10555178.html
Kato Kiyomasa's sword given by Hideyoshi was discovered somewhere in Korea.

"Toyotomi Hideyoshi" "Kato Kiyomasa" and "Unify small countries" are engraved.

"Ruling thousands years" on Tsuba.

According to the news, some Korean scholars think it's national treasure class. Oh my.

Does look an awful lot like the 'authentic 500 year old sammyrai swords' that Chinese sellers peddle on eBay. At best, it looks like a cheap WWII mass produced sword. I'm kind of surprised even Korean historians would take it seriously.

It's so obviously fake that it's just sad.

I feel the need to pen a new kabuki play (or film script) featuring the vengeful ghost of Kato Kiyomasa.
