There is a sword and gun exhibition at Nagoya castle until the end of this month. If anyone will be in the area, you can go see some interesting pieces such as these.
Oh, one thing. I'm not so sure taking photos are allowed. Laughing Oops!

I have a list (in Japanese) of all pieces that were on display. If anybody wants, I can scan this and save it as a PDF and send it to you by email. So, if you want the list, send me a PM with an email address. I'm off to China tomorrow for a week, so it may take a few days for me to respond as I may not always have internet access.

Yes, I do, but I don't have plans to post higher grade shots as it appears I I may have taken the photos against regulations. Just Kidding

If there is a "legit" need to see a photo by a forum member, I suggest you first take a look at the list of all pieces that were exihibted (see above post on how to get that) and I can see if I actually have a photo of that item and will back to you by PM or email.

Good to have you back, Carlo! I hope tribbles don't get into your PC again and cause any further more problems. Laughing

Tsubame1,

That is why I never buy a Microsoft product that is less than 1 year old, least of all an operating system.

I need to get a new laptop in the next few months. I refuse to allow it to be a Vista machine. I hope I can still get XP on a new laptop.

kitsuno,

You should be able to. If not from a company like Dell you could probably just custom order one from a custom computer store.

Be aware that my version of Vista is a very early one that has been put on a XP-engineered machine and that I've been told that new computers have been engineered to fit Vista and this is *presumed* to be a *possible* solution to *some* problems.

Months that my original and legit Vista can't download updates due to an error that even Microsoft can't manage...

I wish I had the time to go Linux...

No, tsubame--Vista just sucks. I bought a laptop with it brand new. Love the laptop--it's small enough to fit into a portable DVD player case. Hate the OS. Vista blows.

Nate, I'm happy to know that isn't my hardware to be
charged for the problems.

I know Sony Vaio and Vista don't like each other,
but seems that EVERY and EACH hardware has something
to say about MS' newborn.
