Given that some people have expressed problems with seeding stuff, I was thinking that perhaps those with downloaded episodes could help others out by seeding stuff. But so that we can know what needs to be seeded, I thought having a request thread would be a good idea. Please update your posts when you've completed the torrent.

How do you start seeding after you've already "removed" the task?

Oh, and I'm going to assume we are using "D-addicts"?

And finally, how do you create a new torrent? I have a variety of TV I would be willing to make available, but I don't know how to do it.

I am currently downloading 3-5 of Komyo ga Tsuji, and so I'll probably need pretty much everything after that. I guess after I get that I'll start on Toshie to Matsu, since I only saw the first episode.

All you have to do is re-download the torrent and start "downloading it" again to the location you saved the original file. If you changed the file name, make sure to download to the new file name. Make sure to set the options on the software you're using to "seed indefinitely", or something like that.

Yes, though the torrent itself may be available on other sites.

I'm not sure about how to create a torrent. Have a look on the bitorrent website or use google.

For some reason the Komyo ga Tsuji episode 3+4 pack and episode 5 have stopped downloading with only about a single megabyte each remaining. If anyone wants to do me the favor of seeding those, I'd appreciate it.

I'll put these up when I get home from work - about 5 hours time.

Thanks! Not sure why, but they've stagnated with barely a MB each to go. How aggrivating. Even number six won't start. Curses!

So, if you've got #6 too... Laughing

EDIT: My mistake, I actualy only have about half of 3-5, I was looking at the wrong line. Boy, it's going to take me another 24 hours to finish these off it looks like. I got the first two in barely an hour. Number six is moving along at a snail's 10kb/s, but at least it's moving.

I'm seeding 3-4 & 5 and I'll leave them running. Let me know when you're done. I'm getting 6 at the moment, though only at 1.2 kb/s.

3&4 have 20 hours to go according to Bitcomet right now, although it speeds up now and then, 5 has 17 hours to go, and 6 has 8 hours to go.

Anyone have the link to the Sengoku Jieitai Sekigahara? I downloaded the first part, but can't find anymore. I can only find the giant files of part 1 and 2. I just wanted the smaller 600MB files, but I can't seem to find them with the search function.

That brings up the two giant ones- the ones I've been downloading were broken into 4 parts about 550 or 650mb each.

I don't suppose you could seed those again (and anyone else who has them)? I have 70.4% of the 3+4 package and 97.9% of episode 5, but there are no seeds - or maybe there is but it keeps going in and out - I think I had connectivity issues while I was at work, so that might have interfered. If so, I have corrected the issues now. I also just started 7 and 8, so if anyone has those, if you could seed those as well, I'd appreciate it Very Happy

If you do, I'll let you know when they are complete.

I got episodes 1,2 and 6 with no problems, so if anyone wants me to seed those, let me know.

I now have episodes 1,2,6, and 8. 3+4,5, and 7 have completely stagnated. Seeds, anyone?

Woops, sorry, I shut my PC down last night and completely forgot about it.

Leave them running and I'll seed them again when I get home. Might not be until tomorrow though, depending on how much drinking I do tonight. Very Happy

Sorry, but once I've downloaded a file I change the name and burn it to a DVD...

Shame on you! You suck!

Actually, I finally got 3&4. Things sort of seem to be moving now. Now all I need is to finish #5 and #7, and then I can start on #9 onward.

AHHHHHHHHHHH! They've replaced all the torrents between episodes 1 and 13 with a single torrent - I was 5% away from finishing my last one. Curses!

Oh well at least it's downloading at a massive rate of knots now. Kitsuno you should get the single torrent as well.

So now it is all bundled together? Well, as long as I can download seperate episodes, that's fine with me. I think I have 1-6, and 8 complete now, but I'm at work so I'm not sure. I WISH they had Hideyoshi on there. That would be worth burning episodes to playable DVDs.

That would make me go buy another computer to dedicate to this torrent thing...

You're telling me. In about 2 more hours I'll have the complete first 10 episodes of Komyo ga Tsuji, but that's nothing compared to the "classics" like Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Nobunaga, or Motonari. BUT I have the entire Hideyoshi series on video tape. It cost me $25 back in '97, and the tapes are still in great condition. I just wish I could get a DVD copy. Some day I may spring for the Japanese DVD set.

Too bad "Nobunaga" never got to you. I hope Bin Laden enjoyed them Whatever

I know. And thanks to you, I do as well.

I still can't imagine what happened to that. Seriously, they must have ended up in Afghanistan or Iraq, and somebody traded them for a persian rug or something to a local. Who knows.
