Bookmark the following link, and every time you purchase a book on Amazon.com via that link, a staggering 4% of your purchase will be donated to the Samurai Archives - and it doesn't cost you a penny extra. You'll need to either copy the below and paste it into a bookmark, or right click the below link and bookmark that - opening it and bookmarking the page that comes up won't work. Or you could just click the below link and make a purchase right now. Whatever works for you:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2F&tag=samurarchi-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

If you're going to buy books anyway, you might was well help me pay the bills around here.

Domo!

Thank you for letting us know. I have booked marked the site by right clicking and saying 'Bookmark'.

I am curious is there anyway to provide the same link for Amazon Japan? I often purchase from the dot jp version rather than Amazon dot com directly literally on a monthly basis, sometimes weekly, for books. Is there anyway I could get the Amazon Japan link to work for the site as well so you get the 4% ?

Thank you kindly,
-alex

I've a couple items in the wish list.

Hope it works, as when I clicked on the link (and
even when I pasted it) I simply got the usual
Amazon page. Is there any signal on the page it's
working to finance Samurai Archives ?

When you click it, it redirects you to the regular page, but remembers where you came from, so it should be fine. That's why you have to be sure to bookmark the long link. And no, I can only get a kickback from the US version of amazon.

And thanks, I appreciate the help from everyone.

Except Wave.

I've already book marked it. It's too bad you didn't know about this last year. You would have made a fortune off of me!

I concur that had I known about this in November 2007, you would have made a pretty penny from me as well...

But now we know so it works out. Wink Now if only we could get you hooked in to Amazon JP

The 4% is only from the price you pay for the book, no tax or shipping is included. but anyway, thanks for the help. I've known about it for a few years, but just had no idea how simple it was until a friend of mine showed me how it works.

Just used the store front for the first time... I know it isn't much, but I hope it helps. I've been building up a list of the things I want to buy. There's more... but only so much at a time Smile Gotta try to keep to something that I could pretend is a budget Wink

Budgets for Japanese history books are meant to be broken, as my bank account woefully shows! The SA has made a pretty penny off of me since Kitsuno set this thing up. Heck, I think he can afford to buy me a few beers now when we eventually meet up as a token of his appreciation for services provided above and beyond the call of normal duty! Laughing
