I spent 2 weeks in Kyoto this month, and have about 180 pics and a bunch of other stuff to show for it. Here are the images:

So far, since I have to resize every image (they are all around 8mb each) I only have 50 up so far. I'll keep adding over the next week or two. I have some great images of Osaka castle and other areas that I'll resize and get up eventually. Let me know what you think. Also, here is an abridged travelogue of what went on:

Flickr has a way to tag your images with the location on a map where you took them, so I did my best to eyeball the locations. Hit "Hybrid" to see the actual city and geography from orbit:

Nice pics!
How did you take the pictures without other tourists to frame in?

Thats an effective way to do it. I once filmed a timelapse shot of the sun rising over Kiyomizudera and it was incredible because for about 20 minutes we were the only people around.. Kyoto is simply amazing city. But its nearly magical when there's no traffic and all you can hear is the wind.

Thanks for sharing Kitsuno!!

I still have about 110 more pics to add. It will probably be a few days though.

I've uploaded another 50 or so pics, including shots of Osaka castle, random city images, and Sakamoto Ryoma's gravesite:

I still have another 50 or so to go.

Awesome pictures! but it seems you spent a ton of time in Hawaii as well. Since a lot of the pictures took me to a album with pics of Hawaii.
