A book I am reading quotes a paragraph from the Hojo Godai-ki (1641 version) that tells how Ujimasa mediated a calendar dipute. I got a modern version, but I could not find that account though I glanced at every page. Does anyone know that account and where--page number, volume number or something-- it might be found?

I don't know where to find it, but I have the Odawara Hojo-ki, so if you know the approximate time this episode happened, I can see if I can find reference to it in there.

Thank you. The Hojo Godai-ki apparently does not give a date, just "Ujimasa no jidai," but it almost certainly happened in 1582.

I will take a look.

Edit: I only have the first volume, and it only covers events to the early 1560's. Maybe someone else on the list has the second volume?

No, I don't think so, I think that's why I ended up buying it.

I could not find the Odawara Hojo-ki in the catalogues of several local libraries, but it is probably somewhere. When it quotes the Hojo Godai-ki does it give volume and section?
