There are a lot of these in Ayame's medical history texts, and almost all of them are like looking at woodblocks/scrolls of the Buddhist Hells with evil creatures and their victims running around. I suppose personifying disease and sickness was pretty common in all cultures before the 'medical enlightenment'.
