I have no idea of the title, but I remember watching it as a kid.

A samurai of old somehow gets frozen in a lake? or river, and is thawed out in modern times. Conflict ensues...I believe there was a female love interest. The movie ends with the samurai being shot and falling back into the freezing water...

Anyone?

Probably...I remember as a young boy thinking it was great. I've re-watched movies from my youth as an adult and thinking how awful they were now lol.

I've had that with horror movies. I saw X-Tro when I was 8, and I couldn't sleep for weeks, but I saw it again when I was 18, and it was laughably bad, but not nearly the terrifying movie I remembered it as.

As for "Ghost Warrior" - it is horribly "80's", and the lead actress is so bad.
