I watched this incredible samurai movie back in the late '60s when I was a kid. It was about a ronin went to a village fighting a duel with several samurais or ronins. It was about an hour long in black and white. Don't know the name of the movie and would like to see it again. I saw lots of samurai movies. This was by far the best sword fighting movie ever made.

Do you recall any more of the details about this film? A ronin taking on multiple samurai/ronin in a village describes half of the chanbara ever made.

I think it was made by Shochiku Company or Nikkatsu Corporation. There were no well known actors in the movie. It was just about this ronin on foot walked into this ghost village. His enemies were hiding waiting for him and he had to fight each and everyone of them.
