Until the first week of march 2014, The Sieboldhuis in Leiden presents "Heroes, Humour, Horror, prints by Utagawa Kuniyoshi." The prints are selected from the private collection of mr. Takashima Masao and exhibited for the first time in Europe.
Sieboldhuis also houses a parallel exhibition by contemporary artists reflecting on Kuniyoshi's artwork.
During the same period, the Ethnographic Museum (at a 5 minutes walk from the Sieboldhuis)shows her -fairly large- collection of sketches and drawings by Kuniyoshi.
